Brainwave Entrainment is a foundational part of Heather's work with clients. Time and time again, Heather saw remarkable results with her in-person clients when also incorporating their unique Fundamental Frequency within their brainwave entrainment soundtracks. The Fundamental Frequency is the unique frequency that brings a person’s nervous system to a state of homeostasis and stops the excessive stress response that is chronic for so many people today.


With her Bio-Tuning® program, which was developed by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson at the Center for Neuroacoustic Research, Heather is able to watch a client’s nervous system real time on the computer screen while she delivers various sound frequencies to the vibration table they are laying on. She can see the exact note (i.e. frequency) that takes a person’s nervous system from a stress state (sympathetic response) to a self-healing state (parasympathetic response). This state change is measured through advanced Heart Rate Variability, and the unique note that causes that shift is their Fundamental Frequency - a term coined years ago by Dr. Thompson.

Heather studied Neuroacoustic Sound Therapy under Dr. Jeffrey Thompson at the Center for Neuroacoustic Research in Carlsbad, CA.

Dr. Thomspon has been using sound in his private practice for nearly 40 years. He coined the term "Fundamental Frequency".

When including a client’s Fundamental Frequency as a low but constant note playing in the background of a brainwave entrainment soundtrack, the impact of the brainwave entrainment experience becomes magnified significantly. This is because the Fundamental Frequency brings the client’s nervous system to a state of homeostasis and stops the chronic fight or flight stress response. Also, the precise brainwave entrainment frequency becomes further customized to be an octave of their fundamental frequency. 

When the stress response is interrupted with the application of the person’s Fundamental Frequency, the body’s energies which are normally tied up in executing a stress response (i.e. increased cortisol & adrenaline, increased blood pressure, increased blood sugars, etc) are now available to fuel the body’s self-healing activities.
